Brian grew up working in his mother's CPA firm, where he learned bookkeeping, tax preparation, and client service firsthand. This wasn't academic knowledge. It was thousands of hours of real work serving real clients over 20+ years.

Brian became a Licensed Enrolled Agent and maintained an active bookkeeping and tax practice while working full-time as a software engineer.

Engineering Background

Since 2010, Brian worked as a senior software engineer in the aerospace and defense industry, building mission-critical systems where reliability and precision were non-negotiable.

This experience fundamentally shaped how he approaches bookkeeping as a system to be designed, automated, and maintained with engineering rigor.
